Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on August 15, 2018. The day started with fitness enthusiasts of IMT Nagpur participating in a mini marathon, ‘Parikrama’, organised by the Sports Committee. Zumba sessions were conducted by Hypnotics, the dance forum of IMT Nagpur to warm up the participants of the marathon. The spirit of freedom and patriotism was in full display as the strong crowd of the Institute got their faces and hands painted with the colours of the National Flag at the tattoo counter set up by InShades, the Art club of IMT Nagpur.

Post the marathon, we had a series of events lined up which were conducted by OVIA, the cultural committee. The special segment started with a riveting show of march-past by the security team of the college followed by hoisting of the National Flag by Dr Gajavelli V S. We had Zimfonia, the Music forum of the Institute bringing in the patriotic fervor by adding melody to the event.

The event concluded with felicitating the winners of ‘Parikrama’ with trophies and cash prizes followed by distribution of sweets to commemorate the momentous feeling of patriotism and indomitable spirit of independence.
