A distinguished leader with more than three decades of experience spanning corporate leadership and management education, He brings a unique blend of industry expertise and academic rigor to his role as the Director of IMT Nagpur.

His academic credentials include a Ph.D. from National Law University, Jodhpur, PGDBM from IMT Ghaziabad, and B.Tech (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur.
Earlier at FORE School of Management he served as the Head of Gurugram Campus and Dean of Corporate Relations. He was on the Executive Board and his leadership was instrumental in establishing FORE’s Gurugram campus.

Prior to academia, Dr. Chauhan held senior positions at Infosys, including Operations & Strategy Head for the ERP Services division and China Head for Enterprise Services. His corporate experience includes extensive work with Fortune 500 companies across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. He started his career in 1991 in the R & D unit Steel Authority of India Limited and has been recognized at the national level for his contributions to process engineering industry.

As a thought leader he bridges the divide between industry and academia. He has pioneered courses in emerging technologies, introducing Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and FinTech. His experience of working across diverse global cultures provides valuable international perspective.

He is recognized for his leadership, eye for detail, and ability to balance external engagement with internal organizational development.
