Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur hosted the Annual Management Conference and Workshop from January 02 to 04, 2019. The event commenced with an inauguration ceremony followed by lighting of lamp by Professor Tathagata Bandyopadhyay (Dean, Faculty at IIM Ahmedabad), Dr Parijat Upadhyay (Faculty, IMT Nagpur), and Dr Subhajit Bhattacharyya (Director, IMT Nagpur), who then gave the welcome speech. The keynote address was given by Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay. The first day saw guest lectures by Dr B K Upadhyay (Commissioner of Police, Nagpur), Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay, and Mr Rahul Dixit (Chairman of CII, Vidarbha Zonal Council). The following two days witnessed a workshop on ‘Case Writing Techniques’ which offered a platform for the faculty members to share their knowledge, experiences, expertise and analysis of business-related issues. The workshop was facilitated by Professor V G Narayanan, Junior Professor of Business Administrative Chair at Harvard Business School. The student managers got an opportunity to share the stage with eminent research scholars, faculty, doctoral students, case researchers and writers, and working professionals. The event culminated on a high note with all the attendees from across the Institutes brainstorming about case writing techniques and impactful teaching methodologies.
