Blood Donation Camp
Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur celebrated its 13th Institute Day on July 26, 2017, by organising a blood donation camp. It was organised by the Corporate Citizen (CCIZ) under Center for Corporate Governance. This forum inculcates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the culture of IMT Nagpur. The event was organised in collaboration with Lifeline Blood Bank, which is the 2nd blood bank in the country to provide Nucleic Acid Test (NAT). Every year, IMT Nagpur contributes around 300 units of blood through this blood donation camp which showcases the enthusiasm of the college to contribute to this noble cause.
The Dean (Academics), Dr. Jitendra Sharma along with other faculties graced the event with their presence. They encouraged the student managers to contribute towards this cause. Every blood donor received a blood group card, a certificate of appreciation, a t-shirt and refreshments. This year approximately 220 people donated blood through this camp. A total of 20 volunteers helped to ensure that the camp functioned smoothly and that it was a success.
