Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur hosted a two-day Start-up Internship Fair, Voyage’18, organised by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) Committee in association with the Placement Committee of the Institute, on November 24 and 25, 2018. This event is a superlative platform for the students to come face to face with established entrepreneurs to get a chance to do summer internships in their organisations. After IIM-A and IIM-B, IMT Nagpur is the third B-school to organise such an internship fair. The event commenced with the inauguration ceremony followed by the lighting of lamp by Dr Rajiv Joshi, Faculty Chairperson of Entrepreneurship Cell Committee and Dr Gajavelli V S, Professor together with the respective representatives of the startups. The fair witnessed an active participation of fourteen proficient startups such as Mswipe, Cloudpoint Technologies, Digit Bazar, DSYH, Toolyt, Propelled, Innovative Incentives to name a few. An informal session of bonfire and musical night was also organised in collaboration with Zimfonia, the Music forum of the institute and food stalls were set up to treat the taste buds of the crowd. The two-day event concluded on a high note with 52 student managers getting summer internship offers in various profiles of Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations. Continuing the previous legacy, Voyage’18 was a huge success and the entrepreneurs were ecstatic about the quality of the students.
