Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur conducted its first ever ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’ on August 9, 2018. This event hosted eminent personalities like Padma Shri award winner- Dr Sunil Jogi, Mr Ashok Sundarani of Laughter Challenge, Mr Rajendra Alsi and also Ms Gauri Mishra. Our honorable Director, Dr Subhajit Bhattacharyya gave a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests, and also invited them to commence the event by lighting the lamp. 

The event was opened by Mr Rajendra Alsi who entertained the packed audience with his string of witty one-liners. The women power was on full display when Ms Gauri Mishra took the centre stage and kept the spectators engaged with her melodious songs and comic-centric poems. She concluded her performance by paying a tribute to our brave soldiers. Then we had Mr Ashok Sundarani gracing the stage and keeping the onlookers thoroughly entertained with his hilarious repartees. 

Finally, Dr Sunil Jogi gave a beautiful finishing touch to this novel event with his myriad jokes and puns. The event was a roaring success and the director thanked all the esteemed guests and expressed his desire to have more such events in future at IMT Nagpur.
