AppAlert, the brainchild of 51 year old entrepreneur Ashuvinder Ahuja, recently came to light. Student Managers from Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur have been part of the team AppAlert, a cloud and mobile-based real-time school bus tracking system, earlier this year. Divyekant Gupta, Shreyak Bhardwaj, Priyanka BN, along with Sangeeta Bhattacharya and Radhika Sareen, all pass-outs of IMT Nagpur, worked on the nitty-gritty of the application. This is a $900,000 venture funded by US based investors covering over 20 schools in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, and serving over 15,000 students. The AppAlert services have plans to cover over 1,000 schools within the next year. The IMTians working on the project are very enthusiastic and looking forward to more such innovative initiatives in future. IMT Nagpur wishes all the best to AppAlert team for their future endeavours.
