Emotions, Love, memories

She is there.

“Her fragrance still lingers; the walls echo of her; the picture hung reminisces of her beauty”

Life prevailed when we were together. Her nagging, caring, fights, love, everything had its own beauty. Coming home was colorful. She would always be ready and together we could talk for hours about anything and everything.

“How did you spend your day?” I would always ask her. And she would reply – “I waited for you.”
“Do you always think about me?”
“Yes, you are my life.”, and she had me there.

There were times when silence crept in, but not in our hearts. We both knew how much we mean to one another. Seldom would she ask, ‘What would you do when one day I’ll leave you?’
‘I’ll fight the Gods to have you back.’

She made me extrapolate what life is and the very essence of love; it was her. She was preparing me for a time when she would leave me; I did not want to be there.

We had a wonderful time together, a lifetime; and then she left, for what she believed in the most. Everything’s an unexplained void now, the morning tea; goodbyes; coming back home – to life; evening walks together.

She is around, somewhere, everywhere, watching me all time. I can feel her eyes on me.

“Her fragrance still lingers; the walls echo of her; the picture hung reminisces of her beauty”

-Love you mother, forever.
