A prime post at Zee Learn keeps Roshat Adnani in the academic world

After getting his education, Institute of Management TechnologyNagpur’s Roshat Adnani will still be involved in the academic world.

Roshat has accepted the post of brand manager with Zee Learn, one of the leading companies in education in India with the fastest growing chain of K-12 schools and India’s No. 1 chain of pre-schools in its portfolio.

It’s a prime posting, and while it poses some challenges Roshat is confident he’ll succeed.

“The role of a brand manager was quite alien to me,” he said, “but I believe the training I have received at IMT Nagpur will help me stand tall against the challenges that lay ahead of me.”

A native of Mumbai, Roshat studied engineering in IT at Sardar Patel College of Engineering, then worked in sales for 2 ½ years with IBM.

“Somewhere during that time I realized that the IT industry is not the place where I want to stay for the rest of my life,” he said. “I was also missing student life a lot. Hence I decided to go for an MBA, took the CAT and finally landed up in IMT Nagpur.”

Roshat highly recommends taking such courses to further your career.

“My academic experience in IMT has helped me tremendously,” he said. “We have been trained to actually see through things with an open mind and analyze things logically and rationally. This helped me in impressing my interviewer.”

Zee Learn can look forward to having an employee who promises to bring “energy and a creative/innovative outlook to problems” to the job and Roshat knows in today’s economic times he faces “cut-throat competition and the need for innovative approaches toward problem solving.”

He’s also looking forward to growing with the company.

“I am a kind of person who loves to take on new challenges,” said Roshat and in five years time he “would want to see myself excel in at least 2-3 different roles within Zee Learn. “
