| India’s leading business school, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), inaugurated its new campus at the prestigious Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) in the month of May, 2009. Since its inception in 2006, IMT Dubai had been operating from the Dubai Knowledge Village and is known for its academic excellence, faculty support and industrial exposure.
IMT-Dubai's brand new campus at Dubai International Academic City is spread over 2,50,000 square feet and houses five buildings equipped with world class infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities.
The campus was inaugurated by Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al maktoum, in the presence of Sheikh Nahayan mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, UAE and Mr. Kamal Nath, Union Minister, Government of India.
Mr. Bakul Nath, Vice president, Institute of Management Technology, Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT Ghaziabad and Dr. Arun Mohan Sherry, Chairman, Joint Admission Committee (IMT), were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the ocassion, Dr. Farhad Rad - Serecht, Director, IMT Dubai said, “We are delighted to set up our new campus at Dubai International Academic City. Our vision is to bring world class management education, training and consulting within an easy reach of management professionals seeking global careers. The establishment of the Dubai campus is part of our mission to position IMT on the global business map and to become one of the top business schools in the world.”

At the end of the rigorous coursework of the first year, the students at IMT Dubai disperse for corporate internships. In their second year of study, they have to specialize in any of the four areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources or Project Management.
