  • Team ‘Kaizer’, the IMT Nagpur team comprising of Amit Tyagi, Rishi Khanna and Vijayendra Agarwal has been shortlisted among the best 1500 teams across the globe (Total participating teams - 13000) to qualify for the Rounds 2-5 of L’Oreal estrat Challenge-6. At present the team is ranked ‘209th’ globally and ‘28th’ in Zone-8 beating thousands of teams including Kellogg School of Management, Wharton Business School, London Business School, IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, IIM-L, IIM-K, FMS, SPJIMR, XLRI and many others .
       
  • IT is a strategy contest consisting of all functional areas of management like Marketing, Operations, Production , Finance& HR. Event took place between 10th -15th october in 3 rounds More than 1500 participants took part in the contest.

    The contest included corporate participants like Dell Computers, Infosys, Hindustan Lever, JP Morgan. In addition to that top B-Schools like IIMs, MDI, NITIE also took part in the contest and Rajshekar, from IMT Nagpur Secured 3rd position amongst all the participants, at the end of final round.

    Saurabh Sabharwal and Aparna Sharma won the First prize in Marketing Paper Presentation Competition held at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai on 18th February, 2006. The event was named Chrysalis’ 06.

    Overall 21 teams participated from different colleges namely IIFT, NITIE, NMIMS, XIME, BIM, Chryst College etc. Five teams entered the final round, two from NITIE, two from NMIMS and one from IMT- Nagpur. At the Rural Haat Contest the teams from IMT Nagpur won both the First Prize and Second Prize.The team comprising of Mitali Bhattacharya, Shraddha Jalan and Saurabh Singh won the 1st Prize, while the team of Saurabh Singhal, Vasu, and Dwipa Shah won the 2nd Prize respectively.
       
  • The team of Mr. Amit Tyagi and Mr. Harsh Pandey won the First Prize in the marketing vertical at “Shastrarth”, Paper Writing Contest at Intaglio 2005, the International B-School meet at IIM Calcutta.The theme was “Malls or Mandis”. Other participating Institutions include Harvard Business School, Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, Kellog School of Management, Tuck School of Business, Chicago GSB, National University of Singapore, LUMS (Pakistan), AIT (Thailand), and University of Melbourne, Australia apart from the top B-School from the Country.
       
  • The team of Mr. Amit Tyagi and Mr. Harsh Pandey won the Second Prize in the marketing vertical at “Paragana 2005”, Annual National Paper Writing Contest at Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.The theme was “India Evolving-A Montage Of Promises”.
       
  • The team of Mr. Amit Tyagi and Mr. Harsh Pandey won the 2nd prize at the Paper Presentation Contest on the theme “Opportunities for Corporate India at the Bottom of the Pyramid.”
       
  • In the first year itself students started mobilizing their presence across events like AIMA’s Annual Management Convention 2004 and its simulation games as well. But that was just the start.

    Come year 2005, just after returning from their success stories in summer internship across organizations in India, their potential started unfolding….layer by layer

    The research paper written by Mr. Amit Tyagi on the theme “Best of the Best: Spirit of the Challenger” was selected among the best 12 entries across the Nation at the 2nd National Paper Writing Contest organized by All India Management Association (AIMA). The student was invited to AIMA’s Management House, New Delhi to present his views on the theme.
